The hole size is perfect for my thicker cord, and the fact that it's 100% silicone means it grips the thread without sliding around. I've already ordered two more because this focal bead is exactly the pop of color my bracelet needed.
Was nervous about the hole size being too small, but my thickest cord went through without a fight. The matte finish catches light in a way photos don't capture, and it's got just enough weight to feel substantial on the bracelet.
